Digital Cognitive Testing
We have developed the Boston Remote Assessment for Neurocognitive Health (BRANCH) which is a web-based cognitive assessment designed to assess early changes in memory consolidation. It is composed of a series of tasks focusing on different aspects of learning and memory to help characterize an individual’s learning curve. Tasks are completed fully remotely and unsupervised, on a participant’s own device.
The tasks are currently available in both English and Spanish, with other language versions currently in development.

Self-Report of Cognitive Functioning and Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD)
Subjective Cognitive Decline (SCD) represents a stage in which individuals are cognitively unimpaired, but concerned about a decline in their cognitive functioning. It has been associated with an increased likelihood of preclinical Alzheimer’s disease (AD). We are using digital self-report of cognitive functioning to better identify and track informative and complementary clinical indicators associated with AD.

Passive Monitoring
Passive monitoring is an unobtrusive way of detecting and tracking early changes related to Alzheimer’s disease by using data automatically collected via a personal smartphone. We are employing passive monitoring techniques to determine whether we can observe subtle changes in cognition and function via personal smartphone usage.
